In the last chapter weve seen Mikasa and Eren’s child went to a forest and there she saw the similar tree that Ymir went where she became the first titan…
i think this is connected to what Zeke and Eren’s father saw… perhaps the manga didnt made it clear but i think Eren just really want his friends to live long and free that he doesnt care about what would happen in the future to what would happen because of his decisions Eren’s just want the eldians to live free and specially his friends simple as that.
Perhaps Eren miscalculated things out and it didnt went entirely what he expect’s what would happen. Perhaps even on Eren’s death and sacrifice for all. the Eldians on Mikasa’s child time still perish from the other races because of what happen who knows what happen to the eldians after eren’s death did the truce really helped them out or just temporary?
