I have a feeling if there is ever going to be a gear 5th‚ it may be gear 4th mixed with Gear second at the same time with no time limit ( aka super Saiyan blue Kaioken )

Maintaining Unlimited gear 4th would be also a good powerup‚ seeing that he already got future sight and ryo and gear 4th is already top tier with only time limit issue.

Gomu Gomu Awakening. Whatever that will be‚ we already saw how strong awakened devil fruits are

He uses his brain.That is how he came with different forms of gear 4th used for different purposes.

I also am under the impression he will unlock G5 as well as an awakening that will constitute a separate entity.

I don't know how much G4 can still be mastered, there's no realistic insight about it.

If he develops G5 I hope there's ground to still better G4 a lot because it's embarrassing right now.

In his childhood Luffy fell multiple times on his head, there’s nothing left or his brain also became a rubber. First he needs to master G4.

I want to see what Oda does for his awakening to make it broken. Oda hit the mark for me on every gear that Luffy uses (even though he has become to reliant on them) so I really want to see what he does for Luffy's awakening.

He should most likely render it very very potent indeed. What caught my eye is that Luffy is still unable to make proper use of G4 but on the other hand he just learned advanced CoA, and disparate stages of it, which wastes energies by itself. Wonder how much and quick he will master that.
