Tried once, and never again. Somehow, I got a weird headache when I used the goggles for more than 30 minutes, which apparently is a common thing.

:specialmeh:

I know some people that enjoy it, though. They can play for hours without any motion sickness, etc.

I think it still has immense potential, and we are just at the start of it. I like the approach of using VR for therapeutic purposes, for example, helping people cope with their anxiety. It's a real thing and really understated at the moment. I can't wait to see its progress in the upcoming years.

Also, for the gaming enthusiasts, although having hardware and latency issues, I am certain that will also be fixed in the future.

How about you. What was your experience so far?

Awesome, what headset did you use?

I really like it a lot and I have 100% Half Life Alyx achievements if you have heard of the game,

Funny story, apparently Meta will show some AR glasses next year and say they are the most advanced technology ever brought to the consumer, but as of 5 months ago they only have 20 of those glasses that are too expensive to sell and are made in US factories but can't be sold legally due to some materials they used to get the glasses working,

Photos from my gameplay,
I believe it was the Meta Quest S3 headset that I used. I don't own one myself. We were just at a gaming center with some people; they offered VR games, and I gave it a try.

Oh, yeah, I definitely heard of Half-Life before; wasn't that a very popular ego shooter many years back? Interesting that it has become a VR game.

And you have a 100% achievement for it, wow. That speaks for itself; it must have been quite the enjoyable game then.

:christindeed:

I knew Meta in general was big in VR, but I had no idea they had such ambitions. I just hope they won't go the Apple route, producing a bunch of overpriced accessories that nobody wants, but instead focus on the main product. Now you're telling me they face legal issues because of some material they used; oh boy.

:jay-he:

Nice footage, by the way; it looks clean.
