Why didn't Roja's sword get a panel like this? Rocks' blade was already coated and Oda decided to highlight it getting darker for wtv reason.

Yeah, that bothered me too.
At the end of the chapter when Roger was pouring every ounce of his haki in his blade, it's still didn't have the same effect as this

Seems to be an indication that to turn a blade permanently black one needs to have a strong CoA And a strong CoC.

Xebec's already black sword is getting even darker.

Its obviousy impact and motion lines drawn into the blade itself that why a part looks "less black", cause its mid swing and its highlight the swing, you can litterarly connect motion lines to it if you draw them through

Motion lines make the sword black?

I can show lot of other panels of armament coated sword mid swing but none of them have this same effect.

it's just showing movement and haki leakage at the same time

dodger and wb literally does it here

look at dodger's sword. there's the movement lines in the middle, and haki leakage at the edges.

Same exact shit. Oda just drew xebec's sword bigger and more focused in that panel is all.
