Character Discussion What do you want Shanks to be?

I mean in a vacuum, he’s no pushover, but in comparison to other pirates? He’s practically way too nice.

He's a Yonko after all, he can't just plant daisies and cheer people on while they steal his territories, so of course he has to have a ruthless side to be able to defend himself.

He's chill and usually just tries to stop conflict, whenever we saw him fight it was either out of self defense, but when it isn't then he's fighting an objectively bad person who deserves to get trashed.

Shanks was never shown as evil rather I always thought he wanted some sort of balance but that doesn't seems to be the case anymore and it looks like he is the perfect guy which isn't bad either if you ask me

Manz just takes care of himself and his crew, kills evil guys, saves kids, defends his allies, ends conflicts and wars.
He seems like pure evil to me

I think Shanks will remain good
Originally I was thinking he’d have alternative motives and would actually be a bad guy but now with the introduction of Lance, I believe that’s his role to play
