I feel like my reasoning behind this makes sense. Zoro will fight kaido at some point. There is hard foreshadowing pointing towards it. Hence, he most likely won't be getting an extreme diff fight against a calamity, which he almost surely would if he fought king.

Oda will use Jack to introduce post-skip asura or whatever Zoro's ultimate technique is. And then we will see Zoro go extreme diff against kaido.

I think that there is equal, if not more evidence that suggests

King vs Marco( or law)
Queen vs Eustass Kid
Jack vs Zoro

than there is for

King vs Zoro
Queen vs Sanji
Jack vs jinbe

I can't see this happening because of these reasons-

• Can't see Oda humiliating a calamity by not giving him an extreme diff 1 on 1 or a 2 on 1.
• Can't see Oda humiliating Sanji on this level. Zoro gets a 1 on 1 with a calamity and then proceeds to fight Kaido in a tag team. While Sanji only gets to fight an F6. That too when he has already fought one. Now there are 3 ways this can actually happen.
  • Who's Who is actually a calamity level fighter.
  • Sanji gets a really good Mr Prince moment.
  • Sanji also gets to tag team either Kaido or Big Meme. I think it'll be Big meme considering their history.

Other than this, I don't think there's any reason to think that this can actually happen.

When you sacrifice a character for a gag, You fucked up. A gag is suppose to be funny, Not repetitive nor overused. It's not a defining feature but another addon to a character or so. Not driven by it.

But Oda has no balls to make "character development"
Cause he is always afraid if he changed a character attitude, people will hate the new version

For example, if Sanji got married to Pudding, he will have new attitude of trying to resist other women seduction, which for Oda, and for MANY JAPANESE audience, they find that funny... it's why anime has too many pervs! Cause audience there receive it positively much more than other cultures

Just look at Oda's SBS question and you'll know what I'm talking about, a room full of pervs with pervy question while they can ask Oda about much more important shit

For Oda, he really believes Sanji's gag is still working, which is right, but in his own culture mainly... on the other hand, in other diverse culture it's starting to get overwhelmingly repititive

But Oda simply isn't the type to give character growth in all honesty, and when he does it, he takes it away immediately! Same like Usopp, every arc, he shows some of the most courageous actions! Instead of building on that, Oda takes it away by having Usopp act like a coward immediately!

Last couple of chapters Usopp panel with Chopper surprised me, cause he was going there without the fear gag, so hopefully Oda shows growth and doesn't take it away fast! We're at EoS... how can they acheive their dreams without gradual growth, wtf
