I think she may have saved his life in the past, somehow using her df in the process makin him immortal.

I wouldn't mind a df trick behind Kaidou immortality, would explain why he couldn't be killed in the past and why it won't be just punches that takes him down.

Kaido is just a Randolph under steroid.

Linlin and Orochi are Kaido natural allies. The first one gave him the means to be more than just a boar just as she gave him a chance to one day having the strength to be able to take revenge on Oden (perhaps Mama gave him the soul of a dragon or an oni, or the one of a dragon/oni couple's kid ?). The second one directly allowed him to take revenge on Oden.
