I don't know how but I think we will get something definitive to wrap up his character. As of now he's the only one that was shown at Roger's execution that we don't really know about and I think having him shown there for a reason... unless Oda's just trolling.

Who knows? If we are to stretch a bit more, their corpse aren't 100% destroyed by the lava because their exterior is that solid... Like, only some of their vulnerable internal parts like heart were completely destroyed... And someone from BBP can restore them...
