One of the most disappionting cliffhangers was the "Life or Dead" open ending of WCI.

I really wish that there's something fishy (no pun intended) going here but given how BM complained about them destroying her ships when she saw Jinbei (whose arrival was also disappointing) I don't think that's the case anymore.

Or do you think Oda is misleading us here intentionally (I doubt that).
