MangaPlus still lists Chapter for October 5th,
I don't know where They got News that OP is on Break.

they officially said they weren't able to change it in time, so it looks as if it'll be out but it wont

It's generally assumed that Redon receives early digital leaks of the upcoming weekly OP chapters, so he may have already seen Ch. 1162 before posting his "x100" reaction hint on Twitter two days ago. This reaction raised expectations for the expected spoilers, and we even had two threads here speculating whether it might be the chapter of the year.

However, spoilers didn't come out because the chapter was pulled from the magazine for unknown reasons. To many, this makes Redon appear as a fraud who lied about his reaction.

It's either that he never saw the chapter and faked his hype reaction, or he did see it but can't share any other hints or spoilers since the chapter won't be released this week. Regardless, he now has to bite the bullet for hyping it up.

He most likely either works somewhere, or knows somebody that works somewhere that sells the actual physical jump magazine, as retailers tend to receive their magazines 3-5 days in advance. He's been doing this long before digital Manga was a thing.
