I'm rereading the Water 7 stuff, and currently paused it at 432 after seeing the Dragon reveal to come here and make this thread.


So let's look at the panel that made me ask this question. In the panel below we have 3 individuals from the east blue who had no idea about the emperors & admirals.


One of them, Sanji, is shocked at the idea that Luffy doesn't know who Dragon is.. Same Sanji who again had no clue about the Admirals and the Emperors.
The second one is a very intelligent person from the East Blue, who also had no idea about the influence of the 4 emperors and if Shanks even was one. Yet she calls Dragon a really dangerous man.
Usopp, who has never been outside of little village, is sweating buckets upon hearing that reaction pretty much being similar to the others, implying he knows Dragon's a highly dangerous guy.


So what do you think Dragon has exactly done in the OP universe that has people who're ignorant to the likes of the Emperors who boast bounties of 4 billion+ and leaders of the Navy that even exists in the east blue, going bananas upon hearing his name?
Is it one event that he did? Or is it multiple events that he did?

Will turning over bunch of countries make somebody into more dangerous than the Emperors, who possess renowned powers, vast military, control vast lands, and bounties of 4 billion+??
Or did he do really big events over the course of years??
Or perhaps the countries he turned over were of high status in the world of One Piece?


Hope you guys share what you think is the reason why those guys are freaking about Dragon while being fairly ignorant of Mihawk/Yonko/Admirals.

He is literally toppling countries and converting them away from the WG. This is especially shown when Nami reads the newspaper after Arlong saying another country suffered a Coup D'etat.

Dragon's/Revo stuff is all certainly related to Vegapunk/CP-0/Kuma/Final War business. We will know some more once Sabo/Kuma/Bonnie stuff is resolved, but we really won't know until the Revolutionaries actually try and topple the Tenryuubito like they want to. Honestly expect them vs. CP-0 because of it.

For the sole fact that he birthed the former King of the Ancient Kingdom Luffy(Joyboy). That in itself is a very big achievement. He saved the world.

Yonko are just as famous as Dragon ... the entire world should know all Yonko

their actions are always on headlines

it would be wired if people don't know who the newspaper is talking about

the reason SHs didn't knew Yonko was cause Oda didn't want us to be hyped about them right away

but Robin knew everything

Its the media who does that the Yonkos are the greater threat than Dragon in fact Dragon is not even a threat he is an hero and thats what he has done thats his "sin" he is a hero a light to those people around the world he is an alternative regime to the CD which they absolutely cant accept

The yonkos are buffons mostly criminals but that doesnt really bother the WG they only care about there own image and Dragon destroys this image and thats something they cant bear
they even have a shady deal with Kaido who is a prob a mass murder

The Yonkos are much much worser than Dragon
Dragons sin is that he chooses a path in which the elite doesnt rule over the majority and this there problem they dont care about there own people and care less about the humans across the world thats why they dont care what the Yonkos do in the NW
In fact the NW is just small place comapared to the 4 great oceans and the first half where prob 90% of the people live

its the area of "effect" the 4 yonko are only active in the 10% of the world while Dragon operates in 100% whats worse he easily recruits many men and woman for his ambition because the people have enough to pay those tributes to those CD they can save the money they pay for the CD and use it for themselves and that truly threatens the WG existence because with less support they cant maintain there gigantic wealth and military might

What Dragon did is something not even Roger would accomplish he attacks there source of power
look Kuzan left and in turn the WG recruited from those vast countries 2 men who are equal strong as him
in fact one admiral left two joined the HQ had 5 admiral class wariors now they have 6 even though they lost someone like Kuzan
Thats just an example of how rich there resource is
Wb lost Oden and couldnt replace him with an adequate Commander
the same goes for the other Yonko

Also Vegapunk due the vast resource they recruited him and used him to create such an power that can replace the Shichibukai another thing only due having access to unlimited resources
Or CP-0 who are very powerful



Dragon strong point is he is smart he is prob strong as Akainu but he is smarter
He uses the WG weak points against them


their luxury life they waste some of there money the wrong way and in fact abduct people from there home which makes people very angry and create a platform for Dragon to attract people to his side
he uses some of his men to send them over to a country and reorganize the rebel thinking people and create a counterforce in the country which opposes the WG


second, their corruption makes easy for Dragon to operate



third there care for human life makes also easier to recruit people some would rather die than live like that


there more reasons but the most important is said above he is an alternative ruler for the people a guide for there freedom

he prob doesn't even have a bounty anymore he prob just have a former bounty and whoever catches him will be made a king of an island or something like that
