So now that the Onigashima fight is approaching it's hot phase, we are not very far off Kaido's inevitable flashback. You might as well call this the Rocks flashback, but I think similar to Oden, it will rather cover Kaidos story and his point of view. Here's what is a list of thing I would like from that flashback:
- It should not be longer than 5 chapters. We are in the mids of a war, the chapter being too long would be mistake and would take away a lot of excitement and hype.
- Explore Rocks crew dynamics. What relationships did they have with each other? It says that the whole crew hated each other, but Big Mom mentioned that Kaido was like a little brother to her. WB stated that having too many alphas led to the crew falling apart, did that point come at God Valley? Did invincible Rocks lose because of that very reason?
- Explore Kaido's relationship with Yamato. Why does Kaido treat her like his son? Yamato says that Kaido constantly beat her because of her admiration of Oden, so him respecting her Oden obsession is hardly the reason.
- Explain Kaido's ideology and endgoal: Why does he want to find the One Piece? Why does he want to start a war? Why is he suicidal? This will make or break Kaido as a villain.
- Show what happened between him, WB and Shanks before the Marineford war so we can end the speculations and headcanons.
