General & Others What if the world already knows about Shamrock?

#1
Like it’s actually not a secret that Shamrick exists and is Shanks brother but we only now know cause we’re viewing the story through Luffy’s eyes?

Like Mihawk will be “oh I saw your brother Shamrock the other day when I went to Mariejoa in a Shichibukai meeting and we had a quick duel, reminds me of our legendary duels from back then”

Or Whitebeard says the scar reminds me of that man meaning Garling like everyone knows Shanks is a Figarland and is Garling’s son

I hope they at least don't fawn over him if they know about the knights

But I mean even if it is public knowledge if most people today were for example serfs or living in small villages we wouldn't really care to look into finding out the different branches of governement agencies and their members
Post automatically merged:

The emperors would be like some big gang leaders except for Luffy and Shanks who are like a friend group adventuring, the knights would be in a book somewhere you can check out if you can read and want to

The way God Knights operate in secrecy, I think only the nobles in Marijoa know him or else he wouldn't cover his face in the reverie when commoners were present.

WB knows him because Shamrock probably barged into his turf and pissed him off.
Nah, they do genocide games. The hooded thing was just bait from Oda, as some people have pointed out he had shanks collar too, Oda was just baiting hard

WB referring to Garling during his meeting with Shanks could be a callback to the God Valley incident and probably has nothing to do with Shamrock.
The fact that they are involved it killing games I would think they're mostly a unknow to people in the regular world.
They are known to the CD's as they handle issues between them and are their executioners, but there is no reason for the world at large to know about them.
WB would know about them from God Valley, Dragon from his time in the Marines and because his enemy is the WG, regular folk....I doubt they know about them.

I mean that the members of the God Knights are known figures just like people know who Saint Charlos and Rosward are people will definitely know who Garling and Shamrock are.

Yes the common farmer in Fuusha village wouldn’t necessarily know that Shanks is a Figarland but majors figures like Mihawk, Big Mom, Kaido and Whitebeard and marine officers probably know that Shanks is a Figarland and is Garling’s son and Shamrocks’ brother

I mean if shamrock were to show up in Big Mom’s territory, she’ll know it’s Shamrock and knows that even though Shanks was originally born a Figarland he is not associated with them at the moment. So even if Shamrock did something in her territory she won’t be angry at Shanks because she knows it’s not him

Probably the only one who will be fooled is Luffy, and it will probably be a running gag that Luffy always confuses the two especially if Shamrock is a reoccurring villain moving forward

Spoilers from the new chapter already are kind of proving you wrong here but okay.... Giants don't know who Shamrock is, Loki doesn't seem to know, and he was on the asea for 6 years.

I already has a conversation about Luffy not being fooled with someone on MAL. Shanks is his mentor, there is no way he sees a guy who looks like shanks with no scar and his left arm and thinks that it is Shanks. He will be able to tell the aura is different as well. Luffy is a dummy but not this much of a dummy.

I'll just put it like this, I do not agree with what you are saying.

So if you have read my thread properly you’d know I was asking a question, I wasn’t making a theory or saying an opinion or a prediction. So I wasn’t proven wrong because I wasn’t trying to prove anything.

I was genuinely trying to know what was the community’s perception on this topic

Celestian Dragons won’t live or show themselves to commoners. We’ve seen how they only visit their territory when there’s a special event.

He was a baby so I don’t think WB would recognize him as Garling’s son.

I believe WB knows of Shanks' ancestry. We don't know it because we follow the SHs ( mainly Luffy) , Robin who knows much more doesn't talk and has become a ancient text deciphering plot device

You said "I mean if shamrock were to show up in Big Mom’s territory, she’ll know it’s Shamrock and knows that even though Shanks was originally born a Figarland"
Why so defensive?
I read your first post and replied your responded back. I then replied to what you said implying that the GK's are a known entity around the world. It surely was not phrased as a question in your reply to me it was said in a matter of fact manner and I replied in kind.

It’s part of the question, but my bad I’m just not very good at framing my thoughts well so it’s not your fault, but it’s all a one big question. I was just wondering if that was the case, this is in no way a theory or a prediction

While I thought Shanks didn't know about either of them, this is a good point for counter evidence.
His reaction to Whitebeard's words wasn't as if he didn't know what WB was talking about.

Tbf I think it is something that is widely known among the major powers in the OP world. People like Big Mom and Kaido would know, the top dogs of the marines and WG probably know about it as well like it’s not a secret or something. Mihawk probably knows and could have even fought Shamrock many times

Only the straw hats don’t know because they don’t follow the news.
