We cant have Zoro being an underling since it means there's someone stronger than Zoro. We dont want anyone to be stronger than Zoro so

obviously zoro cant beat king right now which he admitted himself so he might turn his tail at luffy remember his promise to his childhood crush; the young girl (forgot name) at his village dojo when she died. he got severely injured, impaired bones according to law during fight vs yonkou earlier then injected mink medicine which we dont know how it affects him later. death isnt option for zoro.
