k I just think it was a horrible decision by Oda to have him train with the WSS for two years.

Yes, finally someone other then me talks about this. Zoro being trained by Mihawk is a narrative disaster. Vista was a perfect pick for Zoro's training arc, there was a cool set up for it with Mihawk vs Vista clash on Marineford. It made perfect sens, but for some fucked up reason Oda went with Mihawk.

for multiple reasons. Zoro's whole character arc ended when he trained under Mihawk, and he became too directly tied to Mihawk and his strength after the Timeskip. If Zoro had been sent somewhere else or trained under someone like Vista or someone else it would have been better for his character Post Timeskip. Plus it might have led him to learn some more unique techniques
