Yeah. Stats like Strength, dura, defence, offence all are expected from akainu.
Speed is the only stat that people never attribute to Akainu. So if has some crazy speed, that might come as shocking considering kizaru is considered to the speed guy

Imo the only admiral who should have CoC coating is Fuji.

It just doesn’t fit the narrative if he is to fight luffy or any non swordsman. There is no difference between a magma punch and a magma slash

There’s a huge difference between a slash and a punch. Look at Kaido for the difference. It’s basically combining the two things Gear 5 showed weakest to. Intense heat and slashes.
