if not speed, i think itd be cool if he was a god tier tactician, which could be explained by the theory of akainu's mentor being tsuru & kizaru's mentor being sengoku, just like aokijis was garp. im not sure if thatd ever come up, but i like the idea, and this is totally just me and i know there's nothing to back it up, but flashback akainu kinda gives off a "sniper vibe" imo bepolaughrerorerorerororonoazoroark.

Luffy doesn’t have strong enough haki or a way to deal with strong cutting attacks like them

i mean, i know natural/base speed is different, but itd already be pretty easy to move around super fast with his magma fruit, it just wouldnt allow for the best/most flexible movement control
