Lucifer is capable of influencing people, but he doesn't straight up "mind control" them.
About the wings and mind control, I think "Siren" would fit a potential mythical zoan better than "angel ".

Well, I'm totally on board for it, but it's not set in stone.
Remember that Sanji usually fights "loud" characters. If this trend continues, Pizarro or Burgess would be a better fit. Lafitte being some cold cruel being, would be more akin to Gin's personality, who doesn't follow this trend.
So, despite having precedent for a more serious opponent, that's not how it usually goes with Sanji.
He's able to make people act how he wants by putting suggestions in their mind and taking advantage to their desires. Hence my use of word "prey". Doesn't straight up take control of their their minds but I still think its mind control.

I've seen Alpha's vid on it, was good ^^ but like I mentioned in the video, the way Oda characterized Laffite's wings in the Vivre Card makes me doubt that it is a Siren. Are snow White wings characteristic of Sirens? Plus it feels odd to me that Oda would refer to Laffite as the "Winged One" without it meaning something given there are several winged characters in the series.
Lastly, does a Siren fall under the "Demon" category? coz I personally think there could be something to the DF pattern ting I pointed out. All of these tings are reasons why I'm more pro "Angel" than I am "Siren" ^^

Not sure I agree with the loud argument. Sanji does fight loud opponents but I don't think that is definite pattern as there clearly exceptions to that, one of which you've already mentioned (i.e Gin). Another of Sanji's opponents that wasn't loud was Kuroobi.
It's true however that Sanji rarely fights the stoic/serious types, and I'll concede that Laffite does fall under that category but one ting that makes Laffite a bit different is that unlike those characters he clearly has two faces. The Laffite we know about from west blue is very different from the Laffite we see under BB. So chances are that Laffite's second face is a "bat shit crazy" mofo
Also although I'm convinced Sanji's fight from the BB Pirates is Laffite and not Pizarro or Burgess for reasons I've already stated way too many times on here😂, the theory itself doesn't hinge on that one point. It's just an interesting coincidence that I used as a supporting argument for the angel theory ^^
