Powers & Abilities What is the best merginig ability ?

After the cloning ability, now this is the merging ability ; who has the best one ? the more versatile ? the most powerful ?

First contender : Charlotte Newshi and the Gocha Gocha no mi :

Newshi merged with the other decuplets to form a merged monster. His ability allow him to merge with other people.
Advantage : the number of people merged can be high, the merged seemed to be powerful.
Drawbacks : we don't know yet : and we don't know who control the merge : Is newshi the master of the merge or the brains and personalities of the decuplets merged too ? And we don't know too if the other persons have to agree or not to merge with Newshi.

FOr now this is a very good fusion power.

Kelly Funk : Jake Jake no mi

Kelly Funk can use his power to merge with his brother (Boby Funk). Kelly can use his DF to put his bros inside him. And with the jacket he can have the advantages of the person inside him : he had the durability of his brother.

Advantages : Kelly can control the merge. Kelly can do the merge even if the other person/animal disagree with it (Kelly can merge with animals etc).
Drawback : for now can only merge with one person at a time, the merge doesn't stockpile the powers. He may need to force the other people to merge with him.

Wapol : Baku Baku no mi

Wapol can merge with whatever he eats : weapons, tools etc. Wapols can also merge other people : chessmarimo (his two goons) and can maybe merge himself with an other person (he merged once with his brother but this is not canon). He can also create tools etc.

Geko Moria : Kage Kage no mi

Moria DF doesn't allow a typical merge but he can steal other shadows and if he puts the shadow inside him he will gain the abilities and strength of the shadown owner. Moria can take a lot of shadows and he can also give shadows to other people. And Moria control the fusion.

Drawbacks : he has to steal the shadows, and salt is a big weakness.

Newshi’s DF may reign supreme until further notice...Kelly Funk can only merge with a single person at a time, Wapol’s biggest advantage is merging weapons (which we’ve seen easily overcome by many top fighters in the series), and Moriah’s shadows can give us some cool shots (Nightmare Luffy is my favorite of his pre-time skip “forms”), but the salt is too huge an Achilles’ heel to ignore. Would like to learn more about the Gocha Gocha no Mi’s limitations, especially that bit you mentioned about whose personality controls the new being - is it like Dragon Ball fusions where they mix evenly? If so, that could get messy...a brand new body composed of several others that ALSO has the capability to argue against itself could be too volatile to maintain.

They all depend on user and whos merging, but i liked the merged version of Luffy the best. Its just the circumstances than allowed him to do so however.

Kelly Funks is useful when you have guys with personalities like him and his bro.

Wapol only managed to annoy Sanji so hes down on the list

Nightmare Luffy and Shadow Asgard are broken, though I am interested by the Decuplets fusion since it not only fuses them and make them far stronger than when they were individuals but also seems that the fusion is a real strawman who can take most attacks without being injured (in the anime it took the attacks of the Vinsmokes without showing signs of being injured or weakened).

Indeed. Give Luffy a shadow on Whitebeard's level and he destroys Kaido.
