General & Others What is the most dysfunctionnal pirate crew ?

#3
The Beast Pirates are the ones who fill the bill the best currently with all of them being united only by their respect or fear of Kaido with the Calamities despising each other and the Flying Six (which is reciprocated), some of the F6 being openly defiant of the Calamities such as Sasaka and Who's Who while Queen wants to kill one of the F6 (most likely Who's Who) and with most of the members of the crew being dumb or crazy or bloodthirsty barbarians.

Honestly, I'd say that it's more or less even between the BMP and the BP.

The BMP works rather well together, but they are so afraid of their mother that they can act like morons (like Opera) and it can cost them.

Meanwhile, the BP seems to not really be that loyal about anyone but Kaido in the crew and always willing to attack others to prove their strength - and they also are so afraid of their bosses that they can act like the BMP at times (like with Sheepshead and Jack at Zou).

The Blackbeard Pirates could also possibly become the champions of the most dysfunctionnal crew currently sailing the oceans.

Blackbeard's lack of recruitement and loyalty criterias outside of his subordinates being strong and the fact that he willingly took some of the worst, craziest and most untrustworthy and unstable criminals the world have ever seen in his crew and that he offered people who absolutely despise him after what he did to them cannot have good results in the long term.

I disagree. Blackbeard is Luffy's evil counterpart so they have many things in common and one of those things is their ability to gain people's loyalty.

The Animal Kingdom Pirates
  1. King has no authority to summon his crewmate and has to use Kaido name instead.
  2. Almost everyone on the pecking order hate each other like King and Queen. Queen wants to kill one of the flying 6. Jack has an inferior complex to King and Queen.
  3. The crew is a pyramid format where to rise up in ranking is to defeat one another when given the chance.
  4. The Numbers are crazy who don't care if they hurt their fellow cremates.

The Barto Club.

They are literally the worst. Like, holy shit, their navigator is Gambia's freaking grandma whom they communicate with through a den den mushi.

Its a miracle they made it to the new world.

I don't care if there's trust issues or anything like that, if your crew can barely sail the oceans at all, that's a level of dysfunction not even seen when Zoro and Luffy were going at it alone.

They are a pirate crew that can barely navigate a boat, and get sea sick...

How the hell did they even make it to the new world?

Red Hair Pirates

They all have fun together, partying together, drinking together, coming to Marineford together.
But nobody knows that behind their back, their Captain secretly has a deal with the Government and likes to visit his old higher ups from time to time alone, snitching about other pirates. Who knows, 1 of those pirates he snitched is actually part of his loyal and innocent crewmember.

Obviously it's the BP

-Everyone is in his position bc of strength not loyalty, in result everyone wants to kill his upper rank to take his position (the gifters were happy at the idea that Queen was going to kill one of the F6 and they could have replaced him....)
-Their captain commits suicide from time to time (as a hobby)

Do I need to say more?

Blackbeard is Luffy's evil counterpart indeed which also means that Luffy has things he does not have such as real loyalty to his friends and crewmates and a real ability to inspire undying loyalty from his nakamas and to get unexpected allies.

Blackbeard may have the genuine loyalty of his original crew but his twisted and shallow view of loyalty and human relations prevent him from being like Luffy, plus crazy and unstable people such as Shiryu or Vasco Shot are not people you can get real loyalty from and inviting people who can only hate and despise him after killing one of their nakamas can only backfire on Blackbeard.
