A myth would be dead if he is

Kinda like Shanks betrayal theories
I never really understood the Kuzan is a double agent idea. Blackbeards too low on the Yonko totem pole in the eyes of the WG, why send an ex admiral to a 2.2 billion bounty but send Drake to the World's Strongest Creature? I don't think it makes sense.

I think Kuzans character arc where he slowly loses faith in the WG makes sense from what we've seen. Inevitably it moving to the extent of him standing with Blackbeard in order to find out the secret that got his friend Jaguar D. Saul killed would be a great end to it.

It would not be in Kuzan's style to betray his people like this.

He chose to quit the Marine in that not content with Akainu's regime of power and justice, but that doesn't mean he would become such a bad guy. He probably wishes to watch BB's moves, it looks patently obvious to me.

What makes you think he’s betraying his people? Blackbeard is just his best ticket to finding the truth. Seems like clear reason to align with him. Doesn’t mean He’s going around and killing people.

I don’t see a reason for kuzan to stay with the World Government

What I mean is that he would arguably not commit actions that put the Marine side in danger imo or even the civilians even not in the long run unless he wanted to overturn absolute justice in a proficient way. I think he calculated that there's low risk to be at a fork for now so he followed Teach and his crew to find out about his moves.

Teach were never portrayed as a Pirate afraid of conspiracy so he still accepted Aokiji on his side.

While simultaneously I see him as a man who’s been betrayed by the higher ups for reasons he never understood. And Akainu was the last straw.

I don’t think he has any allegiance to the WG and is purely likely doing this out of self interest.
