What is your favorite theme or topic that has been showcased or brought up in one piece from the ones above or from others that have not been mentioned?

Mine: Just because I don't see it brought up that often in mainstream animes, I would have to go with Sisterhood. Even though it's not exactly highlighted in the series as it's a male-oriented series, but the times that Oda has brought it up, it's been nice and refreshing to see.

Discrimination against fishmen, especially told from a fishman's point of view, was a very interesting topic imo.

Not really satisfied with how Oda resolved the topic in FI arc though, by having the whole island cheering for Luffy and view him as Hero, because conveniently Hody Jones the trash fishman pulled a rebellion there.
Sounds too convenient and I thought the topic could continue deeper than that.

I agree the fishman thing was really good and Fisher Tiger story one of the best thing One piece has ever done.

The slave thing too.

The power of the WG with taxes is interesting too, if you are not part of the WG no protection and pirates can walk and destroy freely your country. But to be part you have to pay a lot so the poor countries are in a difficult situation.

Underworld is interesting too. Same for mercenaries like Germa 66.

One piece politics is interesting when the MC are not around. One piece world balance is a great thing.

Beliefs and dreams are a central theme : PK, sky island, all blue, strongest sword man and what a man can do to achieve his goals. And the fact that along the road people will alight at you because your dreams didn't exist or your dream is too impossible to achieve.

Like BB said : a man's dream will never die.

But I meant more as in fishmen's retaliation against the human, not how the humans always treat the fishmen like shit. That's why I enjoyed Fisher Tiger & Arlong's flashback.
But right now whole Fishman Island (which acts like HQ for all fishmen race) including their King and royal family, including their strongest warriors Jinbe & Sun Pirates already view Straw Hats as heroes.

You could say hody is like Akainu who kills even his brethren when they come in their way..... only difference is Akainu fights for justice and hody for his hatred against humans....

And I agree with fisherman story.....it is really touching....

Also, hody is that kind of villain who doesn't need justification of whatever he is doing....he is just an embodiment of hatred..... just like nine tailed fox in Naruto

Adventure and freedom are my favorite aspects of One Piece. I like the concept of exploring new islands with their unique themes. Whether they be jungles, mountains, deserts or cities, it's always a joy to see the world of OP unfold.

Justice, Government changes, Freedom. I love the dichotomy in display between acts of Justice and Freedom. We see the good and dark aspects to both nebulous concepts. Fittingly represented by the Marines (Justice), and the Pirates (Freedom). Justice helps maintain peace and order in our society. But how much is something "Justice" before it becomes oppression? And Freedom can be great as you live by your own terms and not someone else's, but it can lead to anarchy and chaos which benefits no one.

Government changes is more a supporting point for Justice.

My fave would be the politics and consequences of tyrannical rule. It's of course adapted for shonen, but all the problems outlined exist in the real world too, and the struggle is very real.

Jokes aside I would say that probably Void Century interest me the most because it is hyped so much and some big sh*t must've happened back then ( I get Fire Force vibes but maybe not cataclysm ).
