This thread looks like a good place for my theory.
I believe there's a good chance King is Uranus.
"Road to Laughtale" Vol.3 had a page about Joy Boy, summing everything about his connection to the ancient weapons. That's where I came up with the idea that maybe each weapon needs a trio: a controlling person of some race, huge beasts connected to that race and a huge ship. The secret legend of Joy Boy must be passed down or otherwise reach this era from 800 years ago.
Poseidon is the god of the sea, and we have Shirahoshi, sea kings and the ship Noah. Joy Boy's legend was passed down in her family.
Pluton is the god of underworld, it is in Wano, where there's a volcano (didn't Kaido and Big Mom fall straight into Hell?) The ship resides beneath ancient sunken Wano. The controlling person is Momo and the beast is Zunesha (could be the Minks too). There was no need for Zunesha to pass down the legend as he is still alive.
Uranus is the god of the sky. The only other person who knows the secret legend of Joy Boy (other than Roger and Oden, who learned it in Laugh Tale from the story of Joy Boy himself) is King. It was King who told Kaido about Joy Boy, mistaking him at first to be the one.
Kaido declared he planned to lay his hand on all three ancient weapons. Why would he declare that openly if he didn't think he already had one, or even two?
I've been told that Enel has a ship, and Gunfall has a big bird. But none of them had the legend passed down to them. The legend with Joy Boy's name only passes down in the families of ancient wepons. Besides, Enel's ship was new, and there are many big birds in one piece (including the one at the very beginning who caught luffy in it's beak when he tried to hunt it).
So I believe King is the anceint weapon Uranus and his story is merely beginning.

I know there's a theory out there circulating about how Luffy will have to destroy the Red Line, which would eventually calm the Grand Line and connect the 4 seas which would create the All blue.
I truly think this will happen, however something still bothers me with this theory.
Here's how I think the Grand Line was created, and it would explain why the above theory bothers me.
When the crew was going to Drum Kingdom, Vivi mentions that when 2 Islands have opposing weathers, the sea in between them will be unstable. It also forms frequent change of seasons. This unstable and turbulent sea reminds us of the Grand Line when viewed on a bigger scale. But why would two Islands have opposing weathers in the first place?
We later learn at Punk Hazard that awakened Logia fruit users can affect the weather permanently in an area . So what if a giant war erupted during the void century and hundreds of awakened logia users fought on different islands on the grand line. This would indirectly explain why the Grand Line is such a dangerous sea. However, why are the 4 seas unaffected by the Grand Line? Because of the Calm belt.
I think the Calm Belt was probably created by Poseidon and Uranus to protect the 4 seas from the aftermath of that great war. So for Luffy to just break the Red Line and erase the Calm belt would just put the civilians on the 4 seas in harms way again.
Since awakened logia type users affect the terrain permanently, I think that the only way to really calm the Grand Line is to completely destroy the existence of Devil Fruits. Will Luffy be bothered by losing his devil fruit powers?
Remember that Luffy's goal is to be the freest man alive. How can someone be completely free to go wherever he wants when the planet is composed of mostly water? His non devil fruit user friends have the freedom of swimming while he can't because of the effect of the Devil fruit's curse.
Note: the reason I think Poseidon and Uranus created the Calm belt is because the calm belt is the Sea Kings nest (Poseidon's doing) and has no wind blowing nor waves forming (probably Uranus' doing if it controls the sky.)
