Speculations What kind of development are you expecting for Akainu?

#21
Its Not cope
There is a reason why he was shown as the Most brutal and consequnt during marineford
Cause he is the ideal marine
I demonstrated already hes behavior for a marine is not out of the ordinary

The problem is that Sengoku is literally an hypocrite and coward. He hates when the elders order him to do evil things. The issue is that Akainu believe that his evil actions are good. He even justified the genocide saying he did that to "erase every possibility of evil"
How do you know? We have not one internal monologue scene of akainu in that situation to know what he really thinks, same for sengoku

"How do you know?"

Because Akainu said he killed thousand of innocent people just to erase every possibility of evil and Sengoku never acted or said something like that. Because Akainu killed a soldier that run from the fight and Sengoku never did something like that.

Are you really trying to say Sengoku = Akainu?

Thats because coby is the next generation of marines
Guys like Smoker Coby and so on are the exception, not the rule and thats why sword exist

We even got a scene as early as alabasta that what Smoker did, covering up the crimes of warlord with a hoax, was so unordinary people it schocked everyone

Sengoku didnt ordered him to kill that people. Kuzan didnt know about kill the ohara people, if Sengoku ordered that he would also know, not even Spandine know that would happen

Sengoku is equally as extreme as Akainu is.

Yeah both did terrible things. What I'm saying is that Sengoku know what he did is evil as hell. Akainu believe he is doing justice
Well , Justice has a price sometimes

and Akainu probably doesn’t actually think what he’s doing is “good”
Rather he thinks that’ he is “right”

I’m sure he himself acknowledges that he is extreme and probably thinks that the deed was evil but the most focused aspect is it being “right” or “wrong”
Not in a sense of good or bad , but in a sense of getting your job done and ensuring it’s done.

Sengoku same thing, doesn’t matter wether it’s evil or not , as long as the job is done and the accomplishment is secured even further that’s the “right” thing in their perspective

What do you mean by this?

if he was extreme or not as extreme?

anyway i see both Akainu and Sengoku being soft for their actual friends, like sengoku tolerates Garp , Akainu tolerates Kizaru.
If Sengoku was as extreme as Akainu, he would not tolerate Garp.

Garp and Kizaru are not remotely equivalent in their conduct. The only they thing they have in common, loosely, is that they're somewhat unorthodox. Kizaru is much more of a company man.

yeah ok bluddy come back to me when you stop reading 2 pieces :cryabit:
Where is he saying to kill every ohara citzen in these panels. If he ordered that why he didnt tell Kuzan about that? And we know Sengoku like and trust Kuzan more than Akainu.

Also Kuzan didnt blame Sengoku when thr ship exploded, but solely Akainu

They both tolerate Garp. This is probably a question for why the Gorosei tolerate him tbh. God valley is a huge deal
