There’s actually a scene in wano where sunny was blown up but it didnt. No one knew who saved sunny or what really happened but i think the one who saved the sunny was the spirit of merry!
This spirit of merry just showed that even today even after the 2 years of their training he was waiting for the straw hats to return and not just kuma, duval, hachi protected the sunny but also the spirit of merry that even now and then he is still there and one of their greatest ally that will help luffu set sail any seas!
2. Franky - of course franky the one who made the sunny, aswell as their ship Shipwright. Preety much if sunny got injured franky could fix it again and again and again just like brand new sunny is his only one master piece and even him believes that this ship is the only one ship that can find the one piece and we saw how! Sunny can fly, shoot beams accurately with ussopp’s help and sunny also has tracking device.
3. Jimbei - perhaps the greatest helsman out there, probably even back then when he was a sun pirate he made their ship so untouchable with his abilities to connect with the ship as if its like his own part of his body thats the very simpliest thjng why they never got caught.He even said himself that the sunny was a very fine ship and a good navigator and if it can control correctly the ship would be invincible.
