They have no problem with their faves using swords or kicks to beat every opponent and it is only Luffy beat Kaido with a Punch. He beat Doflamingo, Katakuri, Lucci, Cesar, Kaido,etc all with punches\palm thrusts.

I was expecting luffy to drop Onigashima on Kaido. Imagine Momo holding up the entire island on his own but struggling. Luffy and Kaido battle is esculated below the island.
