Now You See Me 2.

Typical heist film/Ocean's Eleven with magicians, like the 1st one.

Fun film, unbelievably ridiculously in some parts but it's really cool that Dave Franco
got obsessed with learning sleight of hand, cardistry and such, and thus what you see, the insane card based acrobatics are actually him doing it supposedly. Gambit would be proud lmao.

I like the cast but the new girl to replace Isla Fisher was mostly obnoxious, unfunny but was fairly better when she was more serious.

Daniel Radcliffe was fairly cringe in this for me, I feel Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo and maybe Woody Harrelson carried this (especially the 1st two and Woody playing his "Evil twin" too, whi I'm surprised wasn't Matthew Mcconaughey lmao.)

I enjoy the spectacle of the film though, some cheeky, clever moments and it never takes itself far too seriously but has some actual dramatic, high tension moments too.

Its one of those easy going, don't think too much, just enjoy the show and ride films. I needed that lately especially due to IRL circumstances.

I'm really happy there's a 3rd one coming out and even a 4th one being made apparently now too, the 3rd one featuring a new cast to "replace" the main cast somewhat which could backfire hugely but we'll see. I like the chemistry of the current cast too. I first saw Dave Franco in the overwhelmingly hated, nobody asked for Scrubs Season 9 and you can tell he's James' brother but he's growing on me too.

"Fantastic 4: First Steps" (2025) - 4/5

4th times the Charm! They finally got it right! The team is great, Galactus and Silver surfer are great and the retro future world is great! Felt like an episode of the Jetsons.

The Mid credit scene is Important BUT the end credit scene is not, so you can leave after seeing the Mid credit scene.

Rewatched League of Superpets and absolutely loved it all over again. Such an extremely hilarious, well written, full of heart, respect and appreciation for DC lore and characters and overwhelmingly heartwarming ending and character arcs.

There's so much charm and passion put into films like this but they often get so much hate and get overlooked.

I love this trend of experimental, stylish, evocative, sharp, colourful 2D animation in 3D movies like this. It's like a reward abd a nostalgia trip for watching them.

You would never expect a film to be this good, just an apathetic, half passed, corporate product but this felt like a completely fierce passion project.

I loved how funny the pets were with their own strong, quirky personalities. The villains were hilarious and the female guinea pig villain Lulu was definitely so elegantly voiced actor by her actress having way too much fun. A bit of Cruella and Yzma maybe for example.

There's was so many silly, witty, genre/lore savvy jokes, I laughed out loud many times. DC fans will definitely notice and appreciate them too.

This is my favourite take on the justice league, batman, superman, krypto etc. Way better than that joke the new Superman film is, it just sounds like it was made out of hate for Superman instead and to tarnish and plagiarise similar stories ironically. (Even though Supernan predates those stories by decades and they existed to be inspired by or even satirise Superman.)

Fuck man i ironically cant do this film Justice. It's really fucking good, funny, heartfelt, clever. An absolute underdog in hero movies, pun intended.

Movies like this make life just that little bit better and worth living. It's the kind of film I loved as a child and still love now as a pseudo dinosaur/relic.

This is how superhero films should be. Inspiring, heroic, poignant but also charming, funny, a variety of tones but never takes itself too seriously. The sun shines after every storm.

Don't tell Zack Snyder or he might make the edgiest 5 hour retort in grayscale as revenge. although i love his work in 300 do i digress.
