What was your reaction to oda not giving Sanji vs kizaru fight or 1 V 1 fight with a top tier ?
do you think he got the same hype as rooftop zoro ?

Don’t think the anime can extend fights if they both didn’t fight each other

A short CQC scuffle where Kizaru uses speed and defense to hold off Luffy and Sanji for a few mins before breaking off to chase VP again could work.

I didn't really think there would have been a real fight since Sanji was simply not at that level. He could have done one or two good things and getting owned.

So, I wasn't surprised.

Though I guess a longer clash would be cool, having him have a full on fight would just result in Sanji getting defeated quite easily so I'm glad they didn't end up fighting.

I don't care if Sanji doesn't do any damage to Kizaru, I don't care if Kizaru overpowers Sanji in speed, I don't care if Kizaru does one shots Sanji after the clash, I just want to see THIS between Sanji and Kizaru:

What's even worse is that Sanji protecting Vegapunk's corpse was literally pointless cuz VP is still "alive" anyway.

Oda is LeBron James when it comes to creating hype then fails to deliver the execution in the next chapter.

It was obviously never going to happen because 1. Sanji isn't anywhere near that level yet and 2. Luffy doesn't need Sanji's assistance to destroy Kizaru, as was already demonstrated

Even if I were a hardocee Sanji fan, I couldn't think of a single possibility where he delivers a good fight against an admiral.

Let alone a top tier
