Are people actually that ignorant that they think Luffy are weak to sharp damage even though it got debunked way back in 1998? By that logic, Kidd should be a counter to every swordsman because he can just take the swords away by using magnetic force.

That thing was highlighted against Mihawk but it doesn't mean he was necessarily weak to it. It's just Mihawk is so stronk he would have easily cut his arms.
