Update: "Roar of the Sea" is on his feet
He's using his DF techniques, but the whole dynamic is not clear...
Drake is facing him and the attacks are not injuring him, he has the "...!?" balloon but is not clear if he's reacting to Apoo or to Sanji's words which are broadcasted on the Live Floor.
Beast Pirates are getting hit by Apoo's sound waves tho, what do you think? Is he trying to join the Alliance? Is he attacking the Alliance too and going solo?
Next chapter we'll probably have more answers but now is the time to speculate

In an ideal world he would have served as a glorified Blueno for Kid but that ain’t how things went down unfortunately.

I’m not sure if he switches sides, might as well have him take on Drake and whoever else in the nearby perimeter.

Well he's attacking Gifters/Beast Pirates
So him staying with the Beast Pirates is the only impossible scenario imo or at least seems like it

Aren’t those the gifters that have been tamed by Tama? Jack was attacking them too. Nevertheless I think Apoo will switch sides when it suits him, i.e when the Alliance get the upperhand and look to be winning, that’s how Apoo reasons. It’s the same rationale behind his decision to join Kaido and betray Kid to begin with.

I didn't consider the possibility of them being tamed by Tama, damn, this Kibi Dango business is shittier than I thought... Now we are not even sure of who's siding with who...
Apoo will for sure try to switch side at some point, but will Drake, who's in front him, accept him? He stated twice that he hates Apoo
Kidd? Killer?
For now, I'm sticking with Apoo being rejected and going 'solo'
