Roger isn't the pirate on which the entire lore is based, in fact, he's kinda become irrelevant since the last five hundred chapters of the manga, now it's all about Imu, the Void Century and Joy Boy, all of which Roger has nothing to do with.

And it's one thing to beat Xebec, it's an entirely different thing to beat Domi-Reversi Xebec.
