I think its extremely likely that Kid has gotten stronger since Wano. Law at the very least showed off better CoA and better mastery of his awakening, with him spamming awakening against Teach without getting exhausted.
So I feel like it makes no sense for Kid not to have gotten stronger, especially since he thinks he can beat Shanks despite barely beating BM 2v1. Now obviously, he didn't get that much stronger, Kid is known for being overconfident. Yet, if Law vs Teach is anything to go off of, it seems like Oda is willing to make Kid and Law grow into their roles as 3 billion berry pirates.
So I feel like Kid is going to look a lot better next chapter than he did in wano, as was the case for Law vs Teach. Particularly, there are two things I'd like to speculate on:
It makes sense in my mind, given how confident Kid is. Kid awakened ACoC after the big mom fight, thinks he's hot shit now and can take on yonkos. Just like Luffy after 1010. Then Shanks will crush him, probably take a few limbs, and he will have to get stronger. This will probably lead to him splitting the sky with Luffy somewhere down the line.
But given how Oda neglected Kid's haki abilities altogether in wano, I'm a bit apprehensive to confidently state he will get ACoC just yet. I think at the very least tho, we have to see him use basic conqueror's. He is up against Shanks after all, and flashing his conqueror's is shanks's main thing.
Another possibility is Kid showing off better mastery of awakening. His awakening seems much less useful than Law's and given how there doesn't seem to be any giant metal poles lying around, I would much rather Kid show off his awakening than Oda pull large amounts of metal out of thin air. I think the main way Kid will use awakening going forward will be for him to magnetize his surroundings and then manipulate them as he would metal. ex. Kid could magnetize the ocean and create a tsunami, magnetize the ground and create a giant golem, etc.
In any case, I would be really disappointed if Kid didn't show anything new. Law seemed to have improved since wano, so should Kid.
