Speculations What will Yamato’s purpose be when she becomes relevant again?

When Yamato makes her return, what do you think her role in the larger plot will be?

Will she become a permanent SH or will she just be an ally for the final war? Will she get a proper 1v1 against an admiral/Gorosei/Blackbeard pirate, or will she get zero combat focus? Will she even become relevant again?

The only way I can see Yamato having a chance of being relevant again is if we go back to Wano really soon. And I mean like, really soon. It doesn’t have to be long, just 5-10 chapters would suffice. Oda seemed to imply that Yamato would join at some point, but it wouldn’t be yet.

I don’t know what role she would have that’d work. She’s only been shown to be a good fighter.

Momo and Kin’nemon though…? Surely they‘ll stay behind. I can only see them as allies, especially considering Momo’s duty as being the Shogun of Wano. They traveled with the crew for a long time, since Punk Hazard. I think we can manage without them for a while.

Requisite: Joins when Sanji has surpassed her or at least close in level. Like when Robin, Franky or Jinbei joined.

Role: Log keeper. No one has documented the SHP story. She can interview them and log their journey when they visit each of the 4 blues.

Pattern: 4 recruits in East Blue, 4 in Paradise, 4 in New World. Jesus Luffy with 12 disciples/nakama. 2 member that joined in each sea is a female.
