I think Sanji will face Lucky Roo.

He knows Sanji will fight Roux.
He's just trying to "predict" that Zoro's fight against Mihawk is gonna happen during the shanks' arc. Which would open up Beckmann to fight Sanji.

But the Shanks fights are gonna "mirror" the Arlong ones. With Zoro, Sanji and Usopp taking down the main officers that are hyped and showcased since the beginning of the story.

Since one of Luffy's declarations was "to form a crew that would surpass Shanks' crew", I wouldn't make them lose at any time.

But what I think is gonna happen is that Yasopp is going to acknowledge Usopp as a brave pirate, and that will be where Usopp realizes he achieved his dream.

I mean it's pretty clear at this point that Oda doesn't care about consistent powerscaling when it comes to these things
If he wants Usopp to win, he'll just have him win regardless of what was shown before

Well, I do believe Shanks has his own agenda, not in some "shanks is actually evil" sorta way, but in a "I have my own goals to achieve, and, if you want to become PK, you have to go through me. show me your resolve, luffy!" shenanigan.
Them being "adversaries", doesn't mean they have to be "mortal enemies".

I don't really get all the Shanks hype either, though in his case it's a bit more understandable
The guy hasn't DONE anything. Don't see why anyone would think he's top 5 or whatever when he has a lower bounty than Kaido and Big Mom
