It's pretty interesting that people are calling Queen a terrible Character for something that Lucci and Crocodile did back in the day(two Characters who are seen as good villains by the community)

All three viewed their weak underlings as worthless, with Lucci killing Nero and then making fun of Blueno, and Crocodile sending in Bon Clay to kill Mr 3 over a slip up.

It should be noted that by the context of Alabasta and EL, Mr 3 and Nero were useful Mid tiers with Mr 3 having Abilities that are useful even in Impel Down and Marineford. And Nero being a teenage Rookie who just needed to Master Tekkai and Shigan. Arguably killing them is a bigger waste than Killing pleasures in Wano

If Queen is a "shitty generic Shounen villain" then what the fuck does that make those two?

I honestly don't see the problem in fiction to a villain calling someone worthless as long as that's meritorious.

Sometimes even not a villain might do that heck. I mean how many times in fiction we assist to that.. a boss calling his own men useless and I'm not merely talking about manga.

Not even close to them. If Lucci turned marines in Enies Lobby into his enemies, then it would be comparable. If Crocodile turned all Baroque Works fodders against himself, then it would be comparable. THIS is not comparable.

It's a classic Dick Dastardly situation: The most despicable is often the most comical

Lucci & Crocs are consistently stern & ruthless, so their actions were easy to see coming

Queens actions are way more ruthless & extreme than both Lucci & Crocs, but since his appearance & personality are comical, he won't be taken as seriously.

It's kinda happened a lot (i.e. Apoo, Caribou, Caesar, Duval, Orochi)
