Rayleigh and WhiteBeard are comparable
Gaban and Big Mom are comparable
Oden and Shiki are comparable
For Gaban he's still a mystery but for the other 2 :
- Rayleigh was compared as a legend with WhiteBeard yet he was retired for years and just chilling
- Oden is still notorious to this day and Sakazuki mentioned him yet he died 20 years ago , the most impressive thing about Shikii is breaking out of Impel Down which Morley did , Ivankov implied is able to do anytime , Luffy did and broke out many others with him
Saying Roger (or Roger Pirates) + Garp didn't beat Rocks Pirates because Rocks members survived is like saying the StrawHat never beat CP-9 nor anyone for that matter ... it wouldn't even surprise me if Xebec is still alive to this day
Imagine standing here 40 years later in hindsight and saying the Xebec crew at the time when they were not in their prime is stronger than Roger's and the argument is "well 20 years later they became notorious pirates" even tho all Roger pirates chose to separate and not stay as pirates
and if you want to include the rookies both Kaido/Shanks became equally notorious pirates cause literally Shanks is the only dude from the Roger Pirates (that we know of cause Films don't count) THAT CHOSE TO MAKE HIS OWN CREW and surprise surprise he's one of the top 4 pirates damn ...
