One panel in one chapter and suddenly Mihawk is getting so much hate. How desperate are people to downplay this man? Using shading lines for neckline etc. to say he got scarred? Does he himself have some haters or it is just Zoro hate being channeled against Mihawk? We have zero context on this Cross Guild thing and the author reinforces it with the two stupidest and gullible characters even pointing out that this is something unbelievable/something is fishy. The only thing we do have though is that Buggy deserves the rank of a Yonko if Mihawk and Croc are with him/under him.
You can say that Croc has been retconned by Oda (who admitted that he was introduced too early) from being defeated by pre Gears Luffy to somewhere around commanders (being imprisoned in level 6 and having clashes with Mihawk, Akainu, Jozu etc. during MF). We also know that Buggy had some high level prisoners as underlings already when he was a Warlord. But we also know that Buggy is near new world fodder power wise individually. So how can these two people for whom we have canon power scaling be able to become a Yonko level crew themselves. Imagine Queen and Don Krieg (with no name level 5 prisoners) become a Yonko level just by adding King (based on how people are downplaying Mihawk now).
So far we have monsters like WB, Kaido, BM, BB, Shanks and Luffy become Yonko. Even though Morgans declared Luffy an Emperor after WCI Luffy himself never acknowledged it as such until this chapter after he was declared a Yonko due to defeating Kaido. Now Buggy became a Yonko because he has Mihawk who is equal to or stronger than the monsters mentioned previously.
On the contrary this is one of the most hype things about Mihawk. Give him a YC level guy, Croc (lets upscale him to Kata level) and a bunch of Holdems and the crew becomes Yonko level. It is like Kaido and King going to MF.
WSS sitting at the very top in name and fact, waiting for an opponent stronger than an Emperor with whom is rivalry is said to be the strongest like Roger and WB's, the only living man who is confirmed to have a black blade which is the strongest sword forged through battles. Black blades famed for their toughness and durability to unleash the strength of their wielders without breaking down like Kaido's kanabo and WB's Murakumogiri. He is the only other man in the whole story to have forged a black blade with the other being the Sword-God Ryuma who defended Wano against pirates and WG and beheaded a dragon. Not even Roger, Rayleigh, Oden and Shanks (declared swordsmen) have been able to forge a black blade.
Downplay and ridicule this guy at your own cost.

On Admirals by showing GB beating King and Queen and then getting scared by Shanks CoC. And now on Mihawk by implying him being Buggy's subordinate but then also elevating them to Yonko level.
