I don't particularly like Greenbull especially since Oda wasted so much time and he ended up being this mid however it's obvious he wasn't confident to fight the entire crew rather than shanks individually. Shanks is obviously stronger than him though.

The additional problems that made him look worse come due to shitty film red promotion and Oda having the inability to hype multiple characters without one looking like a fodder.

Obviously he didn’t want to take on an established, veteran Yonko crew of over 6 years waiting to attack versus an Alliance that just got done from fighting and still “recovering” newly minted Pro Pirates.

Him raising his hands up at Shanks’ WiFi Haki was still embarrassing af.

That Oda was willing to waste an Admiral to promote Shanks, hopefully the weakest Admiral.

Boring design (imo) and boring personality. Additonally, accomplished nothing besides providing hype for shanks.

These would have all been OK aspects of his character but Oda and his poor attempts to create fake hype by silhouetting and delaying his reveal for this being the payoff isn't it IMO.

No top tier is capable of takin on a whole yonkou crew.
Aramaki actions were justified.
Also Aramaki taking a fight with RHP is basically a war Invitation. Because a fuckin Admiral is making a move.
WG and RHP would have became a reality and RHP would have vanished from the surface of earth.

He was just acting to make whoever was sending the haki blast drop his guard. It's basic strategy.
He was going to counter attack against Shanks and his crew, but Shanks realized this and that's why he ran away at the end of the chapter.
