Lets say Oda himself wrote the story for a anime episode but never released it anywhere (manga or otherwise)
Like Daddy the father? He’s not canon

In loguetown Oda himself said he wanted to create other stories for other strawhats except Luffy and Zoro which included a character called Daddy the father. This character then appeared in the Anime from the story Oda wrote and wanted to tell in the manga but ended up skipping.

Nope, Daddy the father is not canon. He’s not MANGA CANON.

This is Zoro-Urashima meeting in the anime:

-Zoro insults Urashima and ask him to step aside

-Urashima responds to Zoro in a rude way

-Zoro glances at him menacingly

-Urashima is intimidated by Zoro and goes away

Actually this is canon material. This is something that happens in the manga too, it's was just offpaneled:

It's a manga fact that Urashima was scared from Zoro's aura, in this case the anime didn't invent anything. I really struggle to consider it non-canon
