Future Events When Sanji unlocks Conqueror's Haki, would that affect people's opinions on Sanji's character?

Thoughts?

Conqueror’s haki on it’s own doesn’t really do anything for anyone’s character by itself

It’s the same reason why giving Usopp CoC is more complex than simply handing him the ability

Powerups (regardless of what they are) are given meaning based on how they’re written. Sanji fully awakening the exoskeleton and unlocking Ifrit Jambe is meaningful because of how it ties into his past and his acceptance of himself

Zoro unlocking ACoC is meaningful because Oda managed to tie it in with his promise to Kuina as well as what he swore to Luffy

The people that hate Sanji currently wouldn’t stop hating Sanji because he unlocked conqueror’s. You already have Zoro fans across the internet claiming it would be poor writing, a narrative failure, pity from Oda, etc

His haters would be forced to respect Sanji more in powerscaling conversations but outside of that very little would change

Nothing will change - you had scholars here writing dissertations on why Scopper Gaban being the Sanji parallel would have no relevance to thr current story only for Gaban to be revealed in this arc. The they shifted rhe goal posts and said that Gaban would be irrelevant if he didnt have acoc; which got debunked again. They will shift the goalposts to justify their hatred of the character. I for one would be happy if Sanji unlocked Power of Love instead of CoC as his pathway to deal damage to immortals as it would make Sanji way more unique. I dont care what Zoroaches think, because they will never be satisfied with Sanji's character.

u gotta give to the otakus on the internet lol
y'all never cease to amaze me :milaugh:
"wuld be a random cop out for a character that has shown no reasoning to have Conquerors other than plot convenience"
who gives conquerors to characters in the first place lol
or did a Sanji fan steal Oda's pen? :milaugh:
you mofos make all this bullshit criteria in your heads and then a character you don't like gets it and then it becomes plot convenience lol
Honestly I don't give a toss about ACoC but if I get any pleasure out of it it'd be to see haters like these seethe and cope with the reality :suresure:

Her parents were random ass fodder citizens. Homing and his wife definitely weren’t CoC users too. I doubt Kid’s were either
People who aren´t pushed in tough situations just won´t end up using it. But it´s a one in a million ability, not one in a billion. Idk the OP verse population, but it´s got to be in the billions, and that would imply thousands of COC users exist. We at least have the example of Rayleigh, who seemed to be living a normal life before he met Roger.

Why does only one of BM's kids have CoC though, despite several of them being seasoned veterans?

The real answer is that Oda hadn´t planned how important COC would be for battles at that point, and only wanted to highlight Katakuri having it, as Luffy´s opponent. But in universe? Probably their dads don´t have it, and they inherited that, or some of them have it, but still haven´t unlocked it yet, because they lived under BM´s protection. It´s not like it´s not something that isn´t established that you´re born with
