Comedy and gags are huge part in Oda writing a character
Even a freaking Yonko level character like Big Mom is called Big Meme
It’s nothing important here
Oda might do it, but don’t be have expectation in this series

Never... Maybe his final opponent but all SHs will be fighting that of the same reputation (not level)...

Do understand that Sanji's level of competition should never be compared to that of the Worst Generation or any top dogs...

Queen is a chad but not serious.

Sanji's fights aren't intense until the bitter end..

fight with wanze was but humorously spun at first but was badass at the end ngl with sanji using knives and then ending it with 3 point decoupage sending wanze into Cp9's room

Jabura was all gags and trolls until he pissed sanji to use DJ

m2 was a battle of credibility for sanji with a touch of gags as well ofc to uphold his values.. again until he figured out a way to fight while preserving his ideals which then he did and then they wen full Okama vs Black Leg style

Absolom vs sanji was a bit different... its was a whole mix of gags and badass sanji until Absolom used invisibility and was taking nami hostage ended on a badass note

the most "intense" fight he has ever had is with kuroobi and with Gin where his fight with gin was partly off-screened and he was already too nerfed..it was intense as in combat wise nevertheless.

last but not least Queen vs Sanji, its just entering its final phases.. it wasn't gaged at all except for queen's funky tech and rambling about germa tecb.. but its just a self-introspective self- conflicting themed fight, where sanji has to choose who he has to be at the end that ofc which will be determined by what devices he uses to finish Queen off.This fight wasn't about humor and values like it usually is but its very principle-oriented fight meant to be profound which it is but as for combat it about to end in a sick fashion like always but wasn't consistent intense.

sso sanji has never had a completely serious gagless.. fights until Queen i reckon but it still isn't a very intense 1v1 where its about pushing oneself.. hit for hit or even battle between 2 ideals which is still a bit themed but strength centered

ig Lucky Roo will be his best fight in post time skip (in theory) if not in Elbaf it might even be Loki while luffy would fights the King of the Giants not as antagonists of the arc.. or well depends on how oda wants to spin it.

UUgh zoro boi is out of commission next arc that is guaranteed

Sanji's literally fighting a YC2 that had Drake as a subordinates and allegedly had him subdued..

competition.. what do you mean by it.. the Yonkos?

most WG fit in YC4-3

Funny enough Sanji's 2 first fights were against serious villains. Gin and Kurobi, although he lost to Gin. Also at Enies Lobby Jabura was more like a serious fight than Kaku.
