Break Week When will we find out where Wano stands as a one piece arc?

In terms of fights it is great.
In terms of writing it is meh.

The guy who killed Izo has a bigger body count than Kaidou during the raid. I mean, we are used to no deaths but it looks weird that some random CP0 guy was more efficient than the Yonkou who is dubbed The Worlds Strongest Creature and is supposed to be a monster among monsters.

What happened to Kinemon, just no.

Oda actually shat on Izo and Kiku.
You gonna kill one of the two after telling us their story and Kiku gets no reaction for the loss of her brother and first thing Oda did is put her in the bath for fanservice. I could even argue how it happened wasnt good cause Izo deserved a better farewell.

Yamato adds nothing to the story, really. Barely a thing changes in terms of presence or things that somebody else could do.

Zounisha just popping in and leaving immediately.

Plenty been discussed between Gorosei and the fruit or Nika.

I could probably think of more but that is just what is first in mind.

Dressrosa was significantly worse than Wano imo. I don't know how some of you can talk about Wano having too many filler characters, and dragging on, and not focusing enough on the crew, and making characters like Law look weak

And then turn around and praise Dressrosa, which does all of that but worse
Side characters in Dressrosa have their personality and own story they are not just oden worshippers like the side characters in Wano

Dressrosa had pacing issues and dragged in certain places (birdcage, colosseum, Rebecca) but the actually important plot points hit hard even in the weekly format. Kyros and Law's backstories were both really strong, the focus on the colosseum fighters paid off with the Granf Fleet, and Doflamingo's defeat by G4 Luffy was really satifying despite the stretching (no pun intended).

No amount of binge-reading/watching will change the fact that many plot points in Wano ended up rushed, underdeveloped or just straight up dropped.

Kaido's backstory is still far too weak, Jack's character basically amounted to nothing and his plot was all but dropped, most scabbards didn't get much of a resolution or big moment that would justify their existence, Yamato and especially the Tobi Roppo felt like a last minute additions just to give some SHs a fight, Kid felt like he didn't contribute much to the story despite literally defeating a yonko.
Wano still has many great moments and i love it, but for how big and hyped up it was it ended up being the biggest mexed bag in the series for me.

Dressrossa had atrocious pacing. Doffy and Law's back story aside , it was mid.

--Wano had roof top fight which was hype.
--G5 introduction
--Far better and relevant Fights
--Roger and WB were based also

Wano has higher highs than Dressrossa.
