Just like Chopper is going to Create Greatest Medicine, and Nami will Create Greatest Map, and Franky will Create Greatest Ship,
I also believe Sanji will Create Greatest Recipe, and Robin will Create Greatest Book, and Brook Creates Greatest Song ... etc

Zoro's Role is to Create Greatest Technique Ever, this is why He is Crew's Main Fighter & his Fighting-Style is Perfectly Crafted,
While Luffy's Role is to Create Greatest Crew Ever, which is allowing his Crew Members to achieve what i just mentioned & share it with entire World,
Zoro is as much a Main Character as other SHs, it's just that People need to accept his own Part of Story,
Yes, all SHs can Fight, but it's Zoro's Role to Perfect Combat, that's why Fans love any Fight Contribution from him,
Just like all SHs can do other Jobs to a certain Degree (at least most of them), but each SH is Tasked with Perfecting a different Life Necessity,

That’s true Zoros fights are always going to be second to Luffy. But they happen before Luffy everytime so the fanbase can go crazy before Luffy ultimately does a bigger attack.
Even before the King fight Zoro ending Pica was like an introduction to how powerful the Strawhats had become. The KKG & Gear 4 stole the show. But none of that takes away from the Zoro greatness.
