Character Discussion Where does Kuma Rank Among One Piece Characters?

In terms of character and backstory he is one of the best but not the best. The world building fails at some points (just the CD hunt alone is almost cartoon villain levels of stupid evil and would be almost impossible to hide for centuries) and Kuma seems designed to show that Nika existed in the world and wasn't created in the least minute to try and save wano.

Unpopular opinion: Not very high.
I’m not very fond of the “Jesus Christ” kind of characters, which is what the flashback is shaping him to be. To be honest I’m starting to dislike how the villain in One Piece must always be some ravaging inhumane monsters and those oppressed by them saints that never sinned once in their lives. Up until Midway through Egghead I hoped that the Elders at least would fall more into the grey area. I expected them to be some sort of ruthless pragmatists rather then the spawn of satan.
