Since chapter 1000 we are speculating Luffy to finally win over Kaido and end this shit long arc. Or even Zoro to do it.

Oda made us believe that ACoA was the key to do it. Turns out it was too shallow.

Then at 1010 he made us believe in ACoC to do the job. Turns out Luffy was already weakened from previous battle.

Back again at 1026 with Luffy fully recovered Oda made us think that would be the grand finale. Turns out Luffy himself is too weak for the job.

Now again at 1043 Luffy is being possessed by JoyBoy and Oda once again make us believe this will be the final round. But we still has one plot from Kaido that has to kick in which is his Battle Cry.

As stated by Big Mom he always does that when he wins a battle. Odd enough we never seen he doing it against Oden or during this raid. Maybe because he didn't killed everybody he wanted 20 years ago so he doesn't feel like a complete victory or because how the fight ended he doesn't feel he deserved to win.

But what about now? The same scenario as he didn't deserved to win? Or he needs Momonosuke to surrender or die in order to do that?

Anyway, the lack of Battle Cry makes me believe Kaido will still win another round against JoyBoy(RIP Luffy).

If you expect absolutely every little detail to be delivered on, then when is Luffy going to beat Jack? When is Hawkins going to use his power-up card? When will Luffy return to WCI to beat Big Mom in her territory?

Kaido is not going to get what he wants, villains don't get what they want in the end. That's how it works.

Enel still went to the moon after losing in Skypea.
Wapol still became king from another kingdom.
Lucci still on CP-9/CP-0 doing what he wants.
Katakuri let Luffy ran so he can get stronger and have a rematch(or maybe take down BM and free his family?).
Akainu killed Ace.
Aokiji froze Luffy(and Robin? Don't remember) even that he didn't even wanted to fight in first place.
Kuma made a deal with Zoro(almost killing him).

Teach beat up Ace, became a Shichibukai, recruited Impel Down Level 6 prisioners, stole WB's DF, became a Yonko.

Plenty villains get what they want. And Kaido wants to die, so this will be tricky.
