I guess he’s somewhere in elbaf, maybe in the opposite side of the island since it looks to be huge.

Maybe thats the reason why Oda is just focusing on a few places in elbaf. Right now the island feels empty so maybe Oda doesn’t want to show more of the island until later

The marines might be looking for him because of Dead or Alive bounty. Also Bounty hunters too.

We have to wait until the marines announce that he’s dead or alive.

Most likely he will show up in a crucial moment when no one expects. If we start the next arc without seeing him then I will declare him dead.

Maybe Shanks still shows up in Elbaf again to face Imu? And then Kid take this moment to fight Shanks again? That would be cool I think

Plus isn't Law and Bepo at Elbaf too after running away from Teach? Maybe they are all together healing themselves?
