Future Events Where will we see Urouge again ?

#1
The last time we saw Urouge it was on his sky island after his defeat against Cracker in Totto Land and him praying for Kaido just before the Yonko's umpteenth suicice attempt.

When do you think that he will reappear and where ?

Urouge is a bit of a sore thumb among the Supernovas.

The only thing people can get on this dude is that he probably has a connection with Enel since they are both Berkians.

So either Urouge escaped from the destruction and wants revenge on an antagonist that Luffy has already pummeled several arcs ago or Urouge was a subordinate of Enel that is now hunting Luffy while also picking random fights.

Neither of those sound all that appealing. Heck, with his Pre-TS bounty being so small, Urouge either has no interest in notoriety (why is he a pirate then?) or he was the most recent Supernova to become a pirate (almost like his boss recently went on a vacation to the moon or something).

As far as I can see, Urouge does not have much hope. Urouge's character choices are;

1) He is a man wanting revenge against a foe Luffy defeated Pre-TS.

2) A man hunting Luffy down cause Luffy beat up his God.

3) A man following Luffy because he believes Luffy is his new God.

4) A man who wants to become God by becoming Pirate King.

5) A man sailing around for shits and giggles.

Last one is most positive, second last is tolerable, rest are abominable.

Urouge could literally pop up anywhere in the story. He would probably come back at the same time Enel presumably returns. :kayneshrug:

with his Pre-TS bounty being so small
"Urouge has the lowest bounty of the Supernovas. However, his number of "108" is seen as a mystical number in Eastern religion (similar to Zoro's 108 Pound Cannon attack). In particular, the Japanese Buddhist believe that all men must resist 108 temptations before achieving Nirvana. "

Not sure the low bounty is saying much, considering there is a possible religious meaning to the number and urouge being called "mad monk".

Pretty much agree on the rest though

Oda already said Urouge bounty was symbolic to some religious stuff.
Nothing to do with his strength

This is why he beat a commander while others couldn't except luffy.

I think Urouge is done for now but offpanel
He will end up taking control ove many sky islands/villages

Fair enough. I was originally trying to go for a more in-universe explanation but then again, the bounty system has never made complete sense.:kayneshrug:

The fact that Urouge is the only one of the Supernovas to achieve anything over the last two years while the Straw Hats were training is actually kinda sad.
