For me I have two. Angel Beats has a special place for being the first work of fiction to evoke some degree of emotion from me, this show is exrtremely sad when thought about from certain perpectives.

The second one is Madoka Magica, this show I went in blind and it was nothing of what I expected it to be. Instead of rainbows and unicorns I saw some heavy and dark stuff. And how well it's made.

If I have to choose between even these then I go for Angel Beats since I simply did not express emotion towards works of fiction until I watched this anime.

No I watched the anime when I was a kid, try reading the manga a couple years ago but it didn't feel the same.
So I've never read nor watched anything related to Saint Seiya since then.

But I did enjoy the anime as a kid, early teenager.
