I mean the Kage supposedly were low on chakra before their final stand before Perfect Susano'o. Of course once the fight is over it would be said that they are out of chakra if the character is supposed to be spent. Gaara was injured. He was not showing any signs of exhaustion before Deidara hit him with the bomb. Gaara was honestly looking like he can manipulate sand forever in that very fight. Hakus move was his most powerful, which should take the most chakra for him to use, and Haku was using it forever. The point still stands. Madara no diffing the entire verse is still not breaking the rules of the verse. It's just power creep, and Madara was hyped to being as powerful as he was in comparison to the rest of the world anyway.

You're literally saying Madara being far stronger than anybody else breaks the rules of the series. Lol this is how ik the people who claim that the War arc is worse don't really know how to qualify that statement. If we were to really be serious, Gear 5 breaks the rules of the devil fruit system way more than anything Madara did in the Shinobi war. Gear 5 literally changes the devil fruit classification for the Gomu Gomu No mi, which had no prior basis.

The Ninja War has no plot points, since Naruto has no support characters, it's even worse that One Piece with Luffy's show.
Madara vs The Alliance or the Kages breaks all the rules of the lore, jutsus and chakra, introducing a person that is just unbelievably leagues ahead of everyone else.
Also, comparing Wano and the War is stupid in general, because one is an arc, the other is a final arc, where plot points are bound to be finalised. Which is kinda unfair for both, because they have different scopes.

Agreed, and I place OP above Naruto, but between these 2 arcs it's not much of a discussion for me. Wano wasted too much to be considered better.

Naruto has always been about the characters, with iconic characters such as Rock Lee, Neji, Shikamaru.
From the pain arc up and even worse during the war, they were made completely irrelevant and redundant, to the point that it becomes the Naruto and Sasuke show.
Kaiba is nowhere to be found, Shikamaru is barely present, Neji dies without having done relevant for years at that point, Rock Lee is missing, Sai? Sakura is the worst of the bunch, forced to tag along because a memeber of team 7 but completely irrelevant.
All the characters that were built up to be the new generation, are overshadowed by new (old) characters that are just.. Strong. The kages are revived to fight an evil from the past, and the only important people in the war are the old kages, the new kages, Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi.

I had no issues with Madara low diffing the five kages. It brought tension and stakes. and it lived up to the expectations Kishi set for Madara hyping him up for several hundred chapters. My favorite part of Wano was when Kaido one shotted Luffy because it brought stakes and it gave Oda creditability that this is a unique pirate that Luffy has never faced. At that point of wano I was like finally Oda is meeting expectation that he himself set and then Oda put Luffy in a prison to train. Then Oda nerfed him because he didn't know how to defeat him. That is worse in my books.

Madara is simply too strong, and the problem of the ninja war is that people have infinite Chakra, spamming super jutsu's back to back with no problem.
I re-read all Naruto recently, and for the entirety of the manga they highlight how important chakra handling is, to not end up without it.
Then the war happens, where Madara has infintie Chakra, Naruto, the 5th, the kages, Kakashi..
