Kaido
Unkillable creature who can't be death and regarded as the world strongest. He has been built up for decades yet his flashbacks are less than half chapters. He can't live up to the hype: got cut from weak scabbards, screamed by children bite, defeated by big punch, and being melted to death in lava. His defeat seems to be the most anticlimactic in the One Piece history.

Big Mom
Walking failure. Got shamelessly humiliated by everyone. Decided to run away from Marco and ask Pero for help. Got technically defeated by Queen.
Her crew is also useless and non existence. The worse is that she needed to sacrifice her lifespan to keep up with Law and Kids. This scenario is typically pulled by protagonist side to fight with superior villian.

Zoro
No character development in the Samurai arc. Talk bigs but deliver nothing, resulting in many of lies. Many of his plotlines were evaporated in thin air.
Got humiliated by his captain who was recognized as Ryuma rival instead of himself. Also, Enma seems to be more relevant to the story.

Luffy
Walking plots to the point it lacks believability. His crews didn't even care when Luffy got defeated and sent to prison. Had too many defeats but got instant power ups instead of negative consequences. At least in Luffy vs Crocodile, he needs to come up with solutions. But now it's as if he is aware of his chosen one narrative. Nika devil fruit kinda destroy his narrative so far.

Sanji
Gentleman who can't hurt women and refuse to use raid suit. Yet, he asked female friend to fight another woman for him and use raid suit to peek the woman bath. This is the character degradation.

One correction. Momo was a adult dragon. Meaning the same teeth that pierced G4 were used to pierce Kaido.

5. Sanji reached his peak in this arc. Everything we’ve come to enjoy from him is here, his character arc from WCI carried over and resolved perfectly, and new interesting threads were created for him too.

4. Luffy is officially a Great Pirate. The best display of leadership we’ve seen from him in the entire series. He’s never been as confident, levelheaded, mature, and reliable as he is here. Also G5/Joy Boy reveal is arguably the greatest moment in the entire series

3. Zoro was fine. Some fans’ expectations were just stupidly high for some reason. He did exactly what I expected of him this arc.

2. Kaido was completely fine. Loved everything about his character. Great design. Great dialogue. Great fight. Great death. Proved himself as the Worlds Strongest Creature, his feats won’t be matched until EoS. I wish his backstory could’ve been fleshed out more, but it’s not like we needed multiple chapters dedicated to it either. It’s okay for evil people to simply be, evil. He doesn’t need a sad backstory where his family and friends are persecuted for being Oni. That’s played out.

1. Big Mom wasn’t completely ruined, but she is EASILY the worst utilized character on this list. Holy fuck. I don’t even wanna talk about her right now lmao.

1º Kaido - main boss of the arc who was a complete letdown, for what you explained (though we still dont know for sure if he really is dead).
2º WB - not doing anything after Oden's death and making lame excuses which contradicts previous statements.
3º Zoro - in the land of samurais and swordsmen, no swordsmanship development (even despite his similar semblance with Ryuma)
4º Usopp - nothing about his CoO and didnt fight anyone during raid, no Usopp moment, flabbergasting.
5º Chopper - similar like Usopp.
6º Hawkins - nothing about that super card he mentioned back then in act 1 and overall a total waste of potential with his powers.
7º Drake - lost 2 times against the CP0 boss, offpanel, in less than 5 minutes, guat the fuck.
8º Page 1 - ...
9º Numbers - ...
10º Kid - in the sense that he was visually unimpressive with his powers and he just ignored his beef with Apoo too, he should have destroyed him before BM at least.

Big Mom was able to literally walk through earth but in onigashima she cant break wooden doors with kid and she was damaged by a piece of wall also, like what the fook. Also where are her ``yonko`` tier moves? she was just a punching bag for Mid and Law, she looked nothing like she was in wcl. Kaido looks 3 times stronger than his supposed rival and even Kaido was done dirty and overshadowed by the new self discovered awakened mystical zoan Luffy.

It's probably Zoro.

Not bc he had such a bad portrayal or anything ... it was the lack of any kind of character development or portrayal really.

This was supposed to be his arc, with his backstory being touched upon and with multiple ties getting resolved (black blade, Ryuma, Shimotsuki heritage etc.) - none of those things happened.

That's what really ruined a lot of potential and what still makes me somewhat angry/annoyed.
